Have you driven Capitol Ave between Forrest and Laurel recently? Many Hartford commuters and students travel this corridor daily. Until recently, it has been a disheartening mess. Thanks to the efforts of over 100 volunteers, including a group of enthusiastic volunteers from Ikon who came together on September 26, this stretch of Capitol Ave is becoming a Corridor of Hope.

Leadership Greater Hartford's Membership

Continue the Connection

The Leadership Greater Hartford experience can continue beyond graduation from a program.  Ongoing membership keeps you connected to the largest, most diverse leadership network in the region.  We keep our active LGH Network of 2,500 community and business leaders in touch with one another and with the community through many and varied opportunities. From training workshops to talks with key leaders of the region to social gatherings, there is always a chance to connect, learn what’s happening, meet like-minded individuals and continue to grow.

The Leadership Greater Hartford Ambassadors are a committee dedicated to raising the awareness of LGH to those living and working in Greater Hartford. Ambassadors make a valuable contribution by promoting LGH training programs and services, strengthening the LGH Network, and assisting with event planning.

  • The Network News section of our web site lets you share your news and learn about others in the network.
  • Events like Polaris, Leaders in Focus, and the Summer Social bring large groups together.
  • Training workshops, monthly After Hours events, films and other gatherings let you learn and network in intimate settings.
