During the past school year, Leadership Greater Hartford trained and supported 250 parents, teachers, principals, and others in the art of working together to improve education for Hartford’s students.

Member Events
Leadership Greater Hartford offers a year-long schedule of events for members, from training workshops to our Polaris fundraiser, from networking events to opportunities to meet community leaders. You can be as involved as you choose to be, on your own schedule. You will always feel welcome and are guaranteed to meet interesting, community-minded people at any LGH gathering.
Our networking events are free for dues-paying members. They include a thematic film series, our annual Summer Social and informal monthly happy hours sponsored by the LGH Ambassadors.
Members have access to continuing education and leadership training. The Leaders in Focus series introduces you to some of the region’s key players. Both are free to our dues-paying membership.
Our consulting and training programs, including how to use the Enneagram to foster leadership and an appreciation of the nine different personality types, can be customized for your organization. Meaningful community involvement opportunities are also available to Leadership Greater Hartford members.
Our Hartford Cares initiative sponsors events that inspire conversations, connections and commitments to build a greater Hartford, from anti-violence rallies to neighborhood beautification projects. A service known as Leaders on Board helps our members connect their skills and passions with nonprofit groups that need them to serve on their governing body. Leadership Greater Hartford also runs several youth programs where our members can serve as adult mentors and activity leaders.
