Jim Boucher (American Leadership Forum XIV), "Friends of Jim" are honoring Jim as he steps down from his 8 years of service on the Hartford City Council. Proceeds from his party on February 29th will benefit Mayor Mike Peters Little League. Jim was also awarded for community service by the Maple Avenue Revitalization Group.

Amy Jaffe Barzach (Polaris 2003 & Executive Orientation Program 2000), is the director of the Women's Education and Leadership Fund at teh University of Hartford.

Maggie Irving (Third Age Initiative Class 9 & Leadership Greater Hartford Staff), has been promooted to the position of Program Coordinator. Maggie will be responsible for coordinating the program, membership and special events of Leadership Greater Hartford.

Cathy Tracy (Executive Orientation Program 2007 & Leadership Greater Hartford Staff), has been promoted to the position of Senior Director of Finance and Operations at Leadership Greater Hartford. Cathy oversees all non-programmatic aspects of the organization such as financial management and reporting, individual gift giving, support of teh Board of Diirectors, and fringe benefit administration.

Marty Rotblatt (Executive Orientation Program 2010 & Leadership Greater Hartford Staff), has been promoted to the position of Senior Director of Communications and Grant Management at Leadership Greater Hartford. Marty is responsible for marketing and communications activities, Website development, and grant writing.

Katy Bannister (Executive Orientation Program 2005 & Leadership Greater Hartford Staff), has been promoted to the position of Senior Director of Membership and Business Development, Katy will direct the membership program which includes overseeing the Leaders on Board Program, organizing learning and networking events, and managing the member recruitment and retention effort.

Harvey Wiener (Encore!Hartford 2011), is now the Adjunct Professor at Manchester Community College.

Veronica Aiery-Wilson (American Leadership Forum Class XI), former Councilwoman of Hartford is now 2nd vice president for the West Indian Social Club Inc.

Sharon O'Meara (Executive Orientation Program 1997), is the  Director of Workforce Investments of Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

Kate Emery (Leadership Greater Hartford Member), founder and Chief Executive Office of Walker Systems Support in Farmington, has accepted a three year term on the Connecticut Technology Council board.

Richard Nelson "Oz" Greibel (American Leadership Forum Class XI), MetroHartford Alliance, President,  was named the Connecticut Jewish Ledger's Jewish Movers and Shakers for 2011.

Michael Bernard (Quest 2010), will be the Vice President for Online Banking at Webster Bank. Mike will be working within Webster Bank’s Internet Marketing Team to improve the online customer experience.

Tina Mahar McNally (Third Age Initiative Class #6), a well-known Hartford philanthropist and a long-time resident of Woodland House, passed away on January 6, 2012 at Arden Courts in Farmington.
