Jay Therrien (Quest 2010), and his wife welcomed baby Charlotte Anne Therrien (8 pounds 1 ounce, and 21.5inches long) into the world on April 28, 2012.

Tom Trumble (Leadership Greater Hartford Member), and his wife Dougie welcomed their newest grandchild (Bria Jane Keleher) on May 14th.

Judy Weinstein (Quest 1996), is the Director of Donor Relations for Individuals at United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. Judy was formerly the Workplace Giving Director at the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

Yanil Terón (Quest 2004), Executive Director of the Center for Latino Progress, has been reelected to a second three-year term as the Northeast Representative of the National Council of La Raza Affiliate Council.

Edward Casares (Summit 2012 and Leadership Greater Hartford Board Member), recieved a certification for Certified Homeland Security CHS-I.

Deborah Ducoff-Barone (Encore!Hartford 2012), joins Capital Workforce Partners as Strategic Planner.
Thomas Masciadrelli (Encore!Hartford 2012), has accepted the position of Director of Finance with The Governor's Prevention Partnership.
Dan Fallon (Encore!Hartford 2012), has join Wheeler Clinic as their new Employer Assistance Program Manager.
Rahsaan Yearwood (Encore!Hartford 2012), joins Achieve Hartford! as their new Director of Programs.

Carol Polsky (Encore!Hartford 2010), is now AVP Store Manger II at TD Bank.

Mary Jo Keating (Encore!Hartford 2010 & American Leadership Forum XVI), has accepted the position at Trinitiy of Secretary of the College, reporting to the President.

Chris Duffy (Quest 2011 & Leadership Greater Hartford Board member), is now Advisory Board, Steinbright Career Development Center at Drexel University.

Tomas Nenortas (Quest 2010), was promoted to Associate Director at the Hartford Preservation Alliance. Tomas also serves as the liaison to various City and State Departments and Hartford's thirteen Neighborhood Revitalization Zones (NRZs) and recently became the Manager of the Bushnell Park Foundation.
Celestino Jimenez, Jr. (Neighborhood Leadership Training class 2), Krish Naraine (Neighborhood Leadership Training class 3), were both elected in the 3rd District, and Hyacinth Yennie (Quest 2001), was elected in the 6th District on Tuesday March 6th during the Democratic Town Committee races.

Michael Bernard (Quest 2010), will be the Vice President for Online Banking at Webster Bank. Mike will be working within Webster Bank’s Internet Marketing Team to improve the online customer experience.

The keynote speaker for Human Resources Leadership Forum “Year of Innovation” series, Peter Cappelli, will help Human Resource leaders and consultants on Tuesday, June 5th, 4:30-5pm, to identify innovative talent practices that organizations should consider in developing and managing talent. "Power of the Purse"
Join the United Way Women’s Leadership Council, Thursday, June 7th, 11am - 1:30pm for the “Power of the Purse” Luncheon and Auction to benefit the Council’s financial stability initiative for women and families. Featured speaker Donna Rosato is a senior writer at MONEY and a volunteer providing financial education to young adults and families in New York City. This event will take place at the Connecticut Convention Center (sixth Floor), 100 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford. Tickets: $100. For tickets and more information click here
The Young Leaders Advisory Council of Hartford Hospital presents Flight Night
The Young Leaders Advisory Council of Hartford Hospital (young professionals in the region) is hosting Flight Night on June 7 at City Steam Brewery Cafe in Hartford from 5:30-7:30pm. Locally brewed beers, hearty foods and networking will be featured throughout the evening to benefit Connecticut’s only air ambulance service, LIFE STAR. $35 per person (cash only at the door) includes beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres.
