Nancy Taylor (Quest 2010) has assumed the post of assistant director of Alumni Relations and Corporate Recruitment at Charter Oak State College, Connecticut’s only public online college.

Most recently, she was the owner of a local consulting firm that assisted nonprofit organizations in advancing their missions. She brings to Charter Oak lengthy experience in both non-profit and corporate management and community outreach. In her new position, she will be responsible for generating student enrollment by enhancing ties between alumni and the College and for cultivating corporate and community relationships.

Taylor, who served for 14 years as Aetna, Inc’s vice president for Public Affairs, holds a BA in economics from Fairfield University, an MA in economics from Indiana University and an MPA from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.  She is an advocate for people with disabilities and was appointed by Gov. M. Jodi Rell to serve on the Connecticut Council for Developmental Disabilities. She also serves on the Boards of High School, Inc. and the American Red Cross Blood Services Division.  She and her family reside in Canton.
