Are you...

  • An executive who is new to Greater Hartford or in a new position and need to expand your professional network?

  • Interested in learning about the major institutions and key leaders involved in addressing the region's most significant challenges?

  • Ready to be introduced to Hartford's significant landmarks, recognized leaders and cultural attractions while learning about why so many key executives are proud to live and work in the Capital area?

Can you..

  • Invest 20 hours in your future in Hartford?

The Executive Orientation Program is a convenient and affordable tool to help key people acquire the broad perspective and contacts needed to excel in our community. We show you what the region has to offer to help you feel at home. In five stimulating sessions, we introduce you to:

  • the social, economic and political history of Hartford;

  • the current political climate and regional trends;

  • the players and projects spurring the city's revitalization;

  • regional economic development and employment;

  • transportation, education, housing, the arts and much more

You Will...

  • Quickly get the "lay of the land" and make the contacts you need to operate more effectively, and become more familiar with your new home.

  • Enjoy unlimited networking potential.  Although the group size is limited to ensure the quality of the experience, the networking is not. Those who complete the Executive Orientation Program become part of  the Leadership Greater Hartford Membership network of nearly 4,000 community and business leaders.

Benefit from conveniently scheduled sessions which limit time away from the office. We initially meet on a Saturday morning, then on four weekly sessions. We offer a selective, intimate environment that allows participants to interact on a meaningful level.
