Partnerships

Our ties to the Community Leadership Association helped LGH build ties to comparable leadership organizations across the country and worldwide.  In April 2006, we hosted the Association’s annual conference in Hartford, bringing together more than 800 local, national, and international leaders to “Experience the Art of Leadership.”

We maintain close ties to the MetroHartford Alliance by partnering on important community initiatives and events. The Alliance’s website provides comprehensive economic, community, and event information at www.metrohartford.com

As a participating organization of the United Way of the Capital Area, donors may contribute to the LGH Development Fund through the United Way Campaign. We partner on programs to match LGH members with area Board positions, and other volunteer needs. Many of LGH’s events and programs have benefited from the United Way’s support.

Leadership Greater Hartford includes Greater Hartford Arts Council staff on tours and orientation programs to promote the artistic and cultural wealth of our community. Both organizations promote area cultural events, and contribute to each other’s annual campaigns.  LGH also provides Let’s Go cards to some of its dues-paying members.
