OnTrack
Hartford, for young professionals and emerging leaders.
In just one month, we introduce young professionals to the
reasons why Hartford is a great place to begin a career. At
the same time, we can inspire and guide them to get involved
as emerging community leaders.
High Hopes Achievement Program is a multifaceted
after-school program created by Leadership Greater Hartford
to serve students enrolled in the Law, Government and
Community Leadership Academy at Hartford Public High School.
This program, which compliments the current curriculum of
the Academy, is designed to help close the achievement gap
and to increase leadership, cultural and career
opportunities for participating students. The High Hopes
program will engage parents, professionals, retired citizens
and civic leaders to help these students develop the skills
needed to become the next generation of leaders.
Hartford Encounter, a guided and informed tour of the
capital city designed to show participants why Hartford is a
community filled with a rich history and an exciting future.
We can customize a tour for any group, interest, and
timetable. Past successful Encounters include an
introduction to restaurants, cultural
highlights and new housing options for young professionals;
overviews of new economic and cultural development for HR
professionals; Lunch N Tours to highlight Hartford’s
neighborhood assets and great restaurants within those
neighborhoods; and tours to broaden current and prospective
employee’s knowledge about the corporation’s impact in the
region.
