Adult Leadership Programs
From summer interns to mid-career professionals, from relocated senior executives to retirees, Leadership Greater Hartford offers appropriate leadership training.
Quest connects emerging and established leaders in a life-changing 11-month experience of personal, professional and community learning. A vibrant mix of leadership training workshops, tours and team projects develop skills and build connections.
The Executive Orientation program provides a condensed overview of Greater Hartford’s history, arts and culture, government, and challenging issues for key people who have arrived in Greater Hartford within the last year or have been recently promoted to a senior position requiring more community connection. Tours, behind-the-scenes excursions, dinners, and panel discussions with some of the region’s most interesting and influential leaders help participants get connected quickly.
The Third Age Initiative provides retirees and older adults with the skills and opportunities to bring about positive change in the community. Over the course of a year, participants attend workshops leading to team projects focused on community improvement.
OnTrack Hartford assists employers with recruiting and retention by engaging interns, new hires and young professionals in a series of tours and leadership workshops that help them identify ways to enjoy and get involved in the region.
