Meet the
Quest develops and engages emerging and established leaders through opportunities to sharpen skills, build new professional relationships and address community issues.

2012 Class Projects
Each year the Quest class selects collaborative taskforce projects that address pressing community needs. Below is a list of the projects undertaken by the 2012 Class.
Billings Forge Taskforce
This taskforce will be increasing the visibility and awareness of Billings Forge in the Greater Hartford region by designing and implementing a membership program, corporate strategy initiative and increase involvement for the annaul Farm to Table event.
Community Solutions Taskforce
This taskforce will be working on the revitalization of the former Swift Factory in Hartford’s Northeast neighborhood. The group will be specifically focused on doing marketing, public relations and community relationship building regarding a survey of the supply chain and waste streams of Hartford area institutions. The results of the survey will highlight the best use for the Swift space in order to provide greater job opportunities in the area.
Hartford Action Plan
As part of a youth development program, this taskforce will be developing and implementing a retail store for youth who have been sexually exploited. They will be focused on getting the physical space for the store and creating the operational plan for the store.
Hartford Children’s Theatre
This taskforce will be focused on the marketing/public relations for the first summer Main Stage theatrical production of Grease! This production would allow greater arts access for families during the summer months and provide summer jobs for the local artist community.
