Leadership Greater Hartford's
Hartford Encounters offer guided, informed bus and walking tours from Hartford "insiders" that are customized to meet your needs. Half-day or full-day tours can be designed to introduce your group to the capital city’s rich history and exciting new trends, arts, culture, entertainment, economic development, neighborhood attractions and even community organizations where you can volunteer. Newcomers as well as lifelong residents can discover treasures they never knew were here!
Use Hartford Encounters to:
- Provide a general overview of the people, places and possibilities of the region;
- Improve recruiting and retention;
- Connect and engage a neighborhood group or community organization;
- Explore opportunities for a church mission or community service club;
- Highlight housing and entertainment options for young professionals and new hires;
- Create “Lunch N Tours” to introduce employees to neighborhood assets and restaurants; or
- Inform employees about a corporation’s impact in the region.
