Member Networking Events

Leadership Greater Hartford sponsors a variety of networking events during the year and all are free for dues-paying members.  Whether you prefer to drop in or to plan ahead, to simply socialize or to discuss leadership concepts, we offer an event for you.  Each provides you with multiple meaningful opportunities to expand your professional and social networks by developing relationships with engaging individuals.

Networking events have included a thematic film series where small groups enjoy a bit of popcorn, conversation and a film.  These may be limited distribution films of special leadership interest or old favorites you haven’t seen in a while.

Our annual Summer Social takes place in July at unusual and interesting settings around Greater Hartford.  Our 2010 event was held aboard Lady Katharine Cruises at Charter Oak Landing.  Members were treated to food and drink, great company, lots of fun, and a cruise of the Connecticut River.

The LGH Ambassadors, a group of dedicated volunteers who help spread the word about member events, have created a new opportunity for those who prefer to simply drop in as time permits.  An informal monthly happy hour occurs on the 4th Thursday of each month at various watering holes in Greater Hartford where special happy hour discounts are offered.  All in the LGH Network are welcome to stop by, catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
